United States vs. Elizabeth Holmes: an Interesting Clinton Connection

Many people know about Elizabeth Holmes’ political connections, which were not limited to Theranos’ board of directors. (You may have seen photos of Holmes posing with John McCain as well as “Joe” Biden.) Today, I found an interesting tidbit regarding Williams & Connolly, the primary law firm that represented Elizabeth Holmes at trial. They were also involved in a contentious case involving Hillary Clinton and the FBI:

"To date, the FBI has recovered from additional data sources and reviewed approximately 17,448 unique work-related and personal emails from Clinton's tenure containing Clinton's hdr22@clintonemail.com email address that were not provided by Williams & Connolly as part of Clinton's production to the FBI..." [pages 19-20] 

Though power is becoming more diverse, its corridors appear to be narrowing.
